When you bring your bike in for service, one of the members of our staff will look over your bike and make a knowledgeable service recommendation, as well as answer any questions you may have to ensure you are getting the service most tailored to your individual needs.

All service work at Denver Bicycle is done in a timely and professional manner and we will call you when your bike is done.

Performance Tune Up [+]

• Inspect & adjust hub bearing assembly
• True wheels in truing stand
• Check spoke tension (charge as needed to adjust)
• Inflate tires to necessary pressure
• Lubricate all pivot points: derailleurs, brake calipers, cable guides, lever pivots, etc
• Inspect & adjust headset bearing assembly
• Check all bolts and nuts for proper tightness
• Lube brake and derailleur cables
• Adjust brake pad alignment
• Center brakes so that they don’t rub on rims
• Adjust front and rear brake cable tension
• Adjust index shifting on rear
• Adjust front and rear derailleur, limit screws
• Check rear derailleur hanger alignment (charge as necessary if alignment tool is needed)
• Adjust bottom bracket bearing assembly
• Lubricate chain
• Tighten crank and chaining bolts

The Professional Tune-Up includes the following:
